The project required the operatives to have enhanced prison clearance and work to the clients onerous restrictions such as the management of both tools and materials which were allowed on site the critical programme which is prepared around the movements of prisons and has to be adhered to at all times.

Due to the working environment access has to be gained to minimise disruption to the establishment this was achieved by planed access to the various locations and involved the use of mobile tower scaffolds, cherry pickers and harnesses attached to the man safe system."
